It’s that time of year again! You’ve had your turkey dinner and drank too much just to deal with your relatives, do you let a hangover beat you or do you fight? We fight!

For our annual Black Friday Big Beer Release and Tap Takeover, we have four very special barrel aged beers, and, of course, a full tap list of big-barrel-aged goodness from our cellar!

Breakfast in the Woods 12.4% ABV
Imperial oatmeal stout aged in a maple bourbon barrel for 44 months. Caramel malts, cocoa, sweet maple syrup, vanilla, and backed by hints of bourbon and oak on the finish.

Coffee in the Woods 12.4% ABV
Imperial oatmeal stout aged in a maple bourbon barrel for 44 months then conditioned with coffee to complete breakfast.

Brambles 12.9% ABV
Imperial oatmeal stout aged in a blackberry brandy barrel for 44 months. Think chocolate blackberry Bavarian cake. Rich chocolatey stout oozing with blackberry jam!

B&B LB Lives 12% ABV
Originally this was supposed to be released at an event last year but we’ve given it some extra time resting in bottles. Now is the time to release this special one! Bourbon & Birch LB Lives is an English-style barleywine aged in a Black Button bourbon barrel with birch staves.

Bottles and draft of the new beers will be available. It wouldn’t be a Black Friday at Woodland if we didn’t pull some of our favorite vintages to put on draft. You can also expect some bottles to come out of the cellar, too! We’re looking forward to sharing a full tap list of big and barrel-aged beers for the day and seeing what time has done to some of our favorites!
