We are beyond excited to announce the return of Wayward Lane’s 2nd annual Punkin Chunkin! Punkin chunkin or pumpkin chucking is the sport of hurling a pumpkin solely by mechanical means for distance. We’ve got our hands on a Trebuchet, a medieval catapult, built by our good friend Erik. Thank you Erik!! Pumpkins will be supplied for a suggested donation with all proceeds going to Boy Scouts Troop 4.

The money raised will help them in their adventures and allow kids who might not be able to join due to the cost. We’ll be judging on distance for the furthest pumpkin tossed along with accuracy for hitting targets randomly placed in the Bier Meadow. Pumpkins start flying at 2pm. Bring you best Halloween costume as there will also be a costume contest. Winner of both contests will be announced at 5pm with some Wayward Lane prizes. The Dumpling Wagon will be here all day for all of your delicious food needs. A halloween party you won’t want to miss!
