720 Varick St.
Utica, New York 13502
On the first Tuesday of every month, Nail Creek Pub is alive with the sounds of Ireland. Anywhere from 10 to 20 or more musicians from all over Central New York get together to play live Traditional Irish Music.
The Nail Creek Seisiún began shortly after the pub first opened in 2008 and has been going strong ever since. The event is put on by Craobh Dugan which is a branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eirann. Craobh Dugan celebrates Traditional Irish music, dance, and language in the Utica area and they sure do put on a great show.
The event begins around 7:30 p.m. and ends about 9:30 p.m. (although sometime they keep on until midnight). We hope you to will come down to soak up some Irish Culture as you enjoy Central New York’s greatest session. If you are a musician who’s interested in playing then by all means feel free to join in!
