SUMMARY:Woodland Black Friday Big Beer Tap Takeover
DESCRIPTION:Its that time of year again! You’ve had your turkey dinner and you’ve done your Black Friday shopping (probably online)! What else is there to do?! How about the release of two very special barrel aged beers\, and\, of course\, a full tap list of big-barrel-aged goodness from our cellar! \nKentucky Voyager IV is our longest barrel-aged stout to date having rested in a barrel for 4 years. This imperial oatmeal stout has spent its life resting in a used Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel since October 2020. A lot has happened in the world over the last 4 years and fortunately for this beer\, it’s been resting and relaxing in the damn-near-heaven of bourbon-soaked oak staves. Rich and chocolatey with thick brownie batter stout with plenty of delicious vanilla\, oak\, and bourbon. \nDouble Barrel Woden is another barrel-aged beer that showcases what time and oak can do for a beer. This English-style old ale spent 21 months in a Four Roses Bourbon barrel and was then emptied into a Rootstock Cider & Spirits 8 year-old brandy barrel where it rested for an addition 30 months. Apple on the nose and strong dark raisin\, caramel\, and toffee on the tongue. This beer is ready to drink now or age for years to come. \nBottles and draft of both new beers will be available. It wouldn’t be a Black Friday at Woodland if we didn’t pull some of our favorite vintages to put on draft. You can also expect some bottles to come out of the cellar\, too! We’re looking forward to sharing a full tap list of big and barrel-aged beers for the day and seeing what time has done to some of our favorites! \nTo kick off the shopping season\, we’re offering buy 2 get 1 item of equal or less value for 50% off merchandise\, glassware\, and apparel!
