(Binghamton, NY) – On Saturday, September 17th, 2016, the Floyd L Maines Arena of downtown Binghamton will host the third annual Binghamton Brew Fest, welcoming craft beer enthusiasts to sample over 100 selections, from 6 PM – 9 PM.
Crafter brewers and brand representatives from around the state and country, will gather under one roof to sample out their flagship brews, limited releases, fall selections, and R&D projects; in hopes to tastefully attract new fans and further educate the pallet of both the novice and advanced beer connoisseurs. Over 50 breweries will be represented at the event, with a large focus on New York State producers. If beer is not your thing; ciders, wines, and alco-pop selections are also on the sampling menu.
“The festival has grown in size and positive reputation in the craft industry. The event has been featured on I LOVE NEW YORK’s list of events to do in NY in September.” stated Jordan Patch, organizer of the event. “We have had more independent breweries, than ever; reach out to join the festival this year. I can promise there will be selections on site, never tasted by even the most advanced and traveled craft enthusiasts. One example,
Southern Tier Brewing Co., Cosponsors of the event with Rocco J Testani Distributing, is pulling brews out of R&D and sampling here, in Binghamton, first!”
For the $36 ticket fee, fest goers will receive their souvenir tasting glass and access to the many selections available. There will also be live music, vendors, and food. Tickets are available at Sam the Beer Man, Water Street Brewing Co., and all Ticket Master outlets. Tickets are limited!
With safety in mind, designated driver tickets are available at the door of the event for $10. This ticket grants access to the event’s tasting floor and a safe drivers snack and drink area.
“Make an evening out of heading to downtown Binghamton. More than ever, our downtown district is a space to truly engage the many businesses providing food, drink, retail, and entertainment. Let you September 17th be about trying something new, whether it a restaurant, new craft brew, or a beer fest entirely. Cheers!”
