CHITTENANGO, N.Y. – The Ridge Golf Club & Tavern will host the third annual Bacon & Bourbon Festival, an all-day celebration, on Sunday, June 5.

The bacon and bourbon blowout benefits Clear Path for Veterans, a local nonprofit which provides support to military members, veterans and their families. Clear Path was established in 2011.

A medley of bands will perform at the festival, including Dynamo, Tas Cru & His Tortured Souls, Los Blancos, Castle Creek, Veterans Salute (an-all veteran band), the Spring Street Family Band, Jamie Notarthomas with Liz Friedel, Joe Driscoll and the Opus Black String Quartet.

The 2015 festival drew about 800 people and raised $14,000 for Clear Path. This year, organizer Jordan Davies expects 1,200 people to attend.

A 50+ bottle bourbon tasting bar will be featured, along with bacon in almost every available food.

For those who (inexplicably) don’t love bourbon, a fully stocked bar, local craft beer and local draft beer selections will be available. Amber Waves of Grain, a caramel and chocolate malt beer, was specifically brewed by Erie Canal Brewing Company to benefit Clear Path.
